Welcome to Sainthill Cottage

Sainthill House and Cottage is a specialist facility, jointly registered with the care Quality Commission for 20 residents. Sainthill Cottage is a separate building which adjoins the main house. The cottage provides 5 beds for men or woman aged 18 to 65, who have learning disabilities. The residents who live at the cottage have their own front door, access to their own rear garden, a separate staff team which is led by an experience manager.

Managers and staff pride themselves on offering a highly professional care service for everyone, with a personal touch. Longer term or short term placement in a new home is a very personal thing and Sainthill Cottage supports personal choice. People need a home where individuality is emphasized, with staff that have time to give attention to small details and where all have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded residents.

This brochure has been developed to assist you in making an informed decision before accepting accommodation, it describes the values and principles of care provided, accommodation, brief description of services provided, what services are included in fees and what are not and details of staffing and training.

The decision to move into any 24hr care environment is sometimes difficult to make, the Manager and Staff are here to make the move as trouble-free and relaxed as possible and will do all they can to make you feel welcome and at ease.
